    Introduce:The IPC-03 Intelligent power monitoring unit is designed for station AC power supply system and low-voltage power distribution system. Its main fuction is to monitor and control the input switches, relay prection, Data detection and collection, Event recording, Feeder monitoring, real-time clock, etc. It consists of the monitoring module, display module, PLC control module, etc. It is highly integrated and has a outstanding performance.
Description:
I. Main features
 
1. Remote communication and control
   The IPC-03 has a standard RS485 communication port, which can be directly connected to the automatic integrated control system,  realizing“four remote controls” on the up computer. 
   The IPC-03 has a rocker switch on its panel for selecting local/remote control. When under local control, the user can set the working mode by using the function keys on panel. While under remote control, the user can remotely control or adjust the equipment on the up computer via RS485 communication. The remote control/adjustment commands will be performed after confirmation.
2. Intelligent power control, with six working modes available

3. Data detection and collection
   This device detects the inlet wire voltage, busbar voltage/current, frequency, active power, reactive power, active kilowatt-hour, reactive kilowatt-hour, and power factor in real time, and reports them to the upstream computer.It can detect undervoltage, overvoltage, and line breaks.
4. Event recording
   It can accurately record alarms or actions in the following format: Year-Month-Day-Hour-Minute-Second-Millisecond, action value, action description.The event records are stored inside the equipment, which are not lost after power failure. Users can analyze the causes of the events by viewing the records. The upstream computer can invoke the SOE records at any time.The resolution of the SOE can reach up to 1ms.
5. Protection functions
   (1) Abnormal voltage detection: It can analyze the voltage collected in real time and produce alarms for faults such as overvoltage, undervoltage, and loss of phase, and handle them according to the appropriate logics.
   (2) Busbar fault check: It determines whether the busbar fails by detecting the tripping of the switch.
   (3) Zero sequence overcurrent protection: This protection is provided to avoid the failure of the entire station due to high grounding. The zero sequence current is obtained by the dedicated zero sequence CT, which can eliminate the fault quickly and accurately to ensure the safety of the station power. This protection can be enabled/disabled, and so does the jump wire.
   (4) Overload protectionThe 03P is provided with quick break and overcurrent protection to solve the problem of mismatch between the feeder short-circuit tripping delay and the transformer station low-voltage switch tripping delay.
6. Feeder status monitoring
   Through the Boolean value input interface, users can monitor the running status of the feeder switch or such information as fault tripping, and handle the local audible/visual alarms.
7. IPC-03H/N intelligent lighting fan load start/stop (new function)
(1) Function overview
   The IPC-03H/N is an intelligent power monitoring unit designed to address the intelligent management needs of the lighting and fans of the transformer station. In addition to the functions mentioned above, the IPC-03H/N has the additional intelligent lighting/fan load start/stop function. By presetting the time for starting/stopping the load, users can exercise automatic control of the lighting facilities/fans. Also, users can modify the preset time on the remote computers or remotely control the lighting facilities/fans even when the set time is not due.
(2) Features
   ■Higher efficiency: Intelligent management for the start/stop of the lighting facilities/fans greatly reduces the work of the maintenance personnel;
   ■Higher security: Remote control of the lighting facilities/fans is a more secure and efficient way of working;
   ■Cost-effectiveness: It reduces the long-term maintenance cost by a minimum one-off investment.
