Illumination of GQH-T system
GQH-Td Digital Integrated AC/DC Power System provides an integrated solution for substation auxiliary power supply equipments. This system unifies the design, monitoring, production, debugging and service of the AC Power System, DC Power System, Inverter Power System and Communication Power System.
The system offers network-based communication of each sub-system of substation power through its integrated monitoring module to collect information of substation power and build the digital power software platform. The system, being very compact, results into elimination of secondary cabling as well as cross-panel secondary cabling outside the module.
The system builds digital power hardware platform through intelligence modules of all switches, contactors and breakers and decentralization of centralized function of substation power. The integrated monitoring module communicates with the host computer through the Ethernet interface and IEC61850 protocol so as to make the substation power an open system.

(1) Through the integrated monitoring module, it integrates the AC, DC, UPS and communication power, establishing unified monitoring and information-sharing platform to realize intelligent network.
(2) It uses ATS (automatic transfer switch) to transfer the inputs power automatically. ATS can avoid the collision of two inputs of power.
(3) By using AC/DC inverter module and DC/DC communication module connect to the DC bus, redundant batteries for UPS and communication can be reduced.2. Communication structure

It is commonly used in 110kV and below transformer substation.
2. One bus divided system
This type of design is commonly used in 110kV, 220kV, 500kV transformer substation.
Advantages and features
1. This system realizes the monitoring and controlling of AC power system, DC power system, UPSsystem and communication power system on a single platform. Through HMI interface, customers can review data such as electric quantity, switch status, event records and other information of each sub-system and can set values, select operating mode and perform remote control on switch.
2. The integrated substation power system can be managed and serviced by the same maintenance personnel and reduced maintenance cost. In the system, the communication power and UPS can share the same battery bank which cut the cost and make the walk-round inspection be much easier and convenient. Besides, the system can conduct power analysis failures and position hidden dangers.
3. The system adopts modular design, which makes all parts be standard. Thus the design and production are much simper and can largely shorten lead time. Besides, numerous secondary lines and cross-panel secondary cables are well placed within module, safer and easier maintenance.

Functions:
1. Communication function: the monitoring unit interconnects and communicates between the intelligent modules, and communicates with host computer using Ethernet and IEC61850 protocol.
2. HMI Interface: Instantly displays electrical data such as voltage, current, power etc. Also can vividly display remote signaling status of ATS, switch etc.; and can achieve control downward such as remote control, remote adjustment etc.
3. Alarm function: Alarm is automatically intrigued when there is abnormal, and creates SOE record;
4. History record function: Parameters are saved automatically; historical data and historical alarm can be recorded according to user’s requirements.

3. DC bus insulation monitoring module
It monitors in real time the voltage to ground of the positive and negative bus during the normal operation of system so as to obtain the insulation resistance value of bus. It gives an alarm signal in case of reduction of the insulation resistance of bus to make the fault indicating light ON and sends a fault signal to the monitoring module. 4. Voltage regulating module

DC/DC communication power system section
DC/DC communication power system includes DC/DC communication power module and DC/DC communication power feeder module.
1. The DC/DC communication power module converts 110V (220V) to 48V output. The module is directly hooked up to the operating DC bus.
2. Communication power feeder module (its main function is the same as that of AC feeder module)Battery on-line monitoring system section
The battery on-line monitoring system includes: monitoring host, battery voltage acquisition module, discharge module and communication interface board. 1.It conducts automatic on-line monitoring of single battery voltage, battery bank terminal voltage, charging and discharging current and temperature, and can also record each instantaneous change during the battery charging and discharging period
2.Measures the internal resistance and load capacity of each single battery
3.Measures battery bank capacity and displays various parameters during static discharge.
4.The equipment will automatically stop discharging when the voltage of single battery is below the set value, the discharge time and capacity reach the set values, AC power is lost, etc.
