Power Supply Equipments for SGCC ± 660 kV DC transmission project delivered
On May 10, 2010, TIEON delivered a series of intelligent AC Power Supply system and medium voltage switchgears to State Grid Corporation of China.
Those equipments will be applied in East Yinchuan ± 660kV converter station, Qingdao ± 660kV converter station, Jingmen ± 500kV converter stations.
Ningdong-Shangdong ± 660 kV DC transmission demonstration project starts from East Yinchuan ± 660kV converter station and end at Qingdao ± 660kV converter station. The project is the first ± 660kV DC power transmission project in the world; Its transmission capacity reach 4000 MW. It is a significant project for country energy security.
